Luge has definitely gotten more attention lately so a little follow up. It's been all Germany. They have taken both the gold medals for Men's and Women's Luge in this first week. The only Luge event left is doubles. I don't know if they have a team but if they do and win, they will have swept the entire sport. The Germans also a Bronze and Silver for the Luge.
Meanwhile Canada liked winning Gold so much, they did it again with another Gold this time in Women's Snowboard Cross. Maelle Ricker took the gold in the event getting Canada's Second Gold Medal. Meanwhile, the woman who had a preemptive celebration a few years, Lindsey Jacobellis, would finish 5th. So much for redemption.
