Today was a great day for the USA in Vancouver. They would take home three gold medals today alone. Shani Davis would take the gold in the Men's 1000 M in Speed Skating. Davis had previously won the gold in the same event four years ago at Torino. The great Shaun White would get gold in the men's half pipe. He also won this event at Torino. Last there was Lindsey Vonn who won her first Gold Medal ever as she dominated the downhill in Alpine Skiing. It was even more impressive considering her shin injury.
With these three Gold Medals, the USA now has the most Gold in Vancouver so far with 5. They also have the most total medals with 14.
