Mavs Take 3-2 Series Lead

Game 5 of the NBA Finals was last night and the series was tied at 2-2. Some extra hyping went into this game with LeBron James "Now or Never" attitude and Jason Terry stating earlier that James couldn't guard him for all 7 games. Which man was right? Jason Terry was, surprisingly. Terry had been below par, to say the least, so far in this series but last night he played liked a top player for the Mavericks' last home game of the year. Dirk was again the top player with 29 points and 6 rebounds but Terry was a great support man with 21 points scored including a clutch 3 pointer made near the end to put Dallas up by 7. Nonetheless, it scored over LeBron James. Mavericks would out shoot the Heat near the end and win, 112-103, and take a 3-2 series lead.

The series now heads back to Miami with the Mavs one win away from a title and the Heat needing a win to stay alive. LeBron continues to be anti-clutch man in 4th quarters while Dwayne Wade seems to keep carrying the team. Meanwhile, the Mavericks continue to make 4th quarter comebacks relying on Dirk Nowitzki for the most part. Game 6 is Sunday as the heat is now on the Heat.

P.S. Bad pun but it had to be used.
