Pujols Out for a While
In his last year under contract with the Cardinals, Albert Pujols has had a roller coaster type season. He started out by not re-signing followed by slumping for a while and then starting to show his great skill once more. Now the coaster has gone down significantly as Pujols has sustained a fractured left wrist and will be out for 4-6 weeks. Will the drama ever end for Pujols? He certainly won't win the MVP this year. Now what about the Central Division? The Cards are currently tied with the improving Brewers. I think the Cardinals will still stay in the race for the Wild Card if not the Central Division. As for Pujols' future contract, he will still be paid top dollar. A team will look past this injury and this season for that matter and will gladly take a risk on Pujols.
