Though it has been a awful season for the New Jersey Nets, it will not be the worst season ever. In front of their home crowd, they won their tenth game of the year by beating the San Antonio Spurs 90-84. As a result, they will not tie the worst record ever in NBA History which is held by the 1972-73 76ers (9-73). The Nets organization must be relieve to know they won't sink that low. It's also good as to impress their new eventual owner, Mikhail Prokhorov. They'll probably all get fired anyway but at least they are trying to keep their jobs.
P.S. I wonder if this sudden spark was inspired by the Fan with the Bag.
