Uconn Women Pass Their Own Record

In the semifinals of the Big East Tournament for women, Uconn beat Notre Dame 59-44. This is significant as they now have the longest winning streak in women's college basketball history with 71 wins. They just passed their own program which had 70 straight wins which ended in 2003. This is nothing but sheer dominance as they have crushed every opponent they have faced. If they keep this streak up, they can have the most consecutive wins in college basketball history which is currently held by the men of UCLA at 88 straight wins back in the early 70's.
