At the beginning of the year, a Giants fan by the name of Bryan Stow was leaving Dodger stadium and was beaten severely by supposedly a couple of Dodger fans. He has been in a medically induced coma since the incident back on March 31. The Police, regrettably, have not arrested anyone for the attack despite a $150,000 reward. The 42 year old Stow is a father of two and is a paramedic from Santa Cruz.
Still, this tragedy has inspired some charity. The Giants have raised $70,000 at the a Dodger-Giant game on Monday night. Tim Lincecum has actually gone a step further by giving $25,000 of his own money to assist Stow. A nice move from Timmy as I am sure that Stow will be helped all he can financially. Still, it would be nice to have Stow get better or for the police to at least catch the people responsible for this tragedy. We all hope and pray for Stow's recovery above all and thank the Giants and Timmy for their kindness.
