Judge Ends Lockout... For Now

In the long legal battle between the players and the NFL, a judge has made an impact. Judge Susan Richard Nelson ruled that the Lockout be lifted immediately which would effectively grant players access to team facilities. The NFL has already responded by filing an appeal of the Judge's ruling saying she was outside her jurisdiction. They have also filed an expedited stay in order to temporarily stop the judge's motion until the appeal process works itself out. Right now, the assumption is that the players could access the team facilities if they wanted to.

A small win for the players as they will be able to workout... possibly. If overturned, were back to square one. However, if this ruling stands, we could see business as usual (by last year's guidelines) in the NFL. Big picture is that this will need to pass the appeals process first but right now the lockout is lifted.
