OT Fever and Bulls Take 3-2 Edge Over the Hawks

I've been a bit preoccupied the last couple days so here is what I missed.

Monday had a couple of OT games in the NBA playoffs. First, the Celtics looked to even their series with the Heat at 2-2. The Celtics were close to getting that wish near the end of the game but couldn't capitalize off a LeBron James turnover. The game goes to OT. The Heat take over and win, 98-90. The Heat now have a 3-1 series lead going back to South Beach. The second game of the day just wouldn't end. The Grizzlies fought so hard to stay in this game and took it to 3 Overtime periods with the Thunder. However, the Thunder would eventually wear down the Grizzlies and win, 133-123. This series is now tied 2-2 heading back to Oklahoma City.

Yesterday had only one game and it was Game 5 between the Hawks and the Bulls in Chicago. The Hawks had fought hard to keep things close with the Bulls and were looking to take control of the series once more. The Bulls, meanwhile, just wouldn't let that happen. Who else but Derrick Rose lead the team with 33 points and 9 assists but also 23 points from Luol Deng and 11 points from Taj Gibson which were all scored in the 4th Quarter. Bulls win it, 95-83, and take control of the series, 3-2.

Still a couple of tight series in the Conference Semi-Finals but the Celtics look like they are headed out the door. They now must win 3 straight games against the Heat to move on and that seems to be an impossible task.
