Triple Heat Eliminate The Boston Threeparty and Thunder Crush Grizzlies

The series everyone wanted to see has come to an end. The Miami Heat grabbed an early series lead and never let go. This is a reason why LeBron James came to South Beach; to get by the Boston Celtics. Game 5 was last night and the Celtics looked ragged. Still, they controlled game 5 for the most part and looked like they could get back to Boston for game 6. The final 4:38, however, the Heat caught fire with a 16-0 run. In fact, LeBron James finished off the Celtics scoring the final 10 points of the game and the series for that matter. Heat win, 97-87, and eliminate the Celtics from the playoffs. James had 33 points in the game with 7 rebounds while Dwayne Wade had 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.

The second game of last night was the Grizzlies and the Thunder fighting it out in game 5 of their tied series at 2-2. Both teams must've been exhausted after that triple OT game. At least the Thunder didn't show it. Despite just 30 combined points from Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant, the Thunder destroy the Grizzlies, 99-72, and take a 3-2 series lead. The Thunder bench had 53 points in this one while the Grizzlies bench had just 27 points.

The Heat win their series over the Celtics, 4-1, while the Grizzlies look to even their series going back home to Memphis.
