The end of the season is almost here and speculation about managerial jobs has arisen. Lou Piniella has left the Cubs, Bobby Cox will retire after being the Braves manager for two decades, and Joe Torre will not return to the Dodgers. Their will be another vacancy listed among them as Jerry Manuel will no longer be Mets manager and be let go along with Mets GM Omar Minaya. So many prominent vacancies has all of baseball wondering who will be going where.
More attention has been given to Joe Torre and his possibilities. Will he retire? Will he manage the Mets? Will he drink more Wheat Grass on Camera? I do believe Torre will manage somewhere even though he's stated he won't be actively looking. It's hard to believe that he will let his career end with the Dodgers what with their horrible year and the divorce that shook the franchise. As for the Mets possibility, it will be a hard sell to Joe but I could see it happen.
P.S. He stole the spotlight when they honored George Steinbrenner. He might want to try and steal some attention from the Yankees.
