Lincecum Edges Halladay and the ALCS Tied 1-1

Game 1 of the NLCS featured Tim Lincecum facing Roy Halladay in a dream pitching match up. Overall it fell short of expectations. While each pitcher did fine, neither did phenomenally. Lincecum allowed 3 runs in 7 innings while Halladay allowed 4 Runs in 7 innings. That score line would stay as the Giants take Game 1, 4-3. Meanwhile, the ALCS had the Rangers seeking a game 2 victory after a game 1 disappointment. The Rangers would grab an early lead once more only this time they were able to hold on to their lead. Rangers tie the series 1-1.

The NLCS continues tomorrow with Jonathan Sanchez going against Roy Oswalt while game 3 of the ALCS continues Monday.
