It's the last weekend of the big dance and we are down to the Final Four. Well, actually the last two. The semifinal games were played last night in the Superdome with the first featuring two teams from Kentucky. University of Kentucky faced Louisville in an epic semifinal rivalry game. It seemed to be all Kentucky with Louisville fighting to keep it close. Kentucky's Anthony Davis was great in this game with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Kentucky would win this one, 69-61.
As to who they will face? It was a battle between two #2 seeds with Ohio State and Kansas fighting a spot for Monday Night. It seemed like Ohio State had the edge early getting out to double digit lead late in the first half. Kansas, however, fought back and made it a game. The Jayhawks managed to take the lead with under 2 left and held on for the win, 64-62. Sort of a heart breaker, yes, for the Buckeyes but they just couldn't hold back Kansas.
The national title game is set for Monday Night: Kentucky Wildcats vs. the Kansas Jayhawks. It's going to be a good one.
