Chile Beats Honduras, The Swiss Upset Spain, and South Africa in Trouble

Group H would be the last group to play their first games today with the first featuring Chile vs. Honduras. Chile would win the game, 1-0, and break a streak of 48 years without a win at the World Cup. Jean Beausejour scored the goal in the 34' to give Chile the win. Meanwhile, the World Cup favored, Spain, faced Switzerland. They didn't looked like the favorite today as the Swiss managed to pull out an upset and beat mighty Spain, 1-0. Gelson Fernandes was the one who scored the goal to help shock the world. Now Spain can still make it past the group stage but they will most likely have to win both their remaining games.

While Spain still has a good chance, South Africa, the host nation, does not. Uruguay may have destroyed South Africa's hope of moving on as they beat them, 3-0. Diego Forlan scored a great first goal and then a second on a penalty kick after Itumeleng Khune, South Africa's Goalie, was called for a red card in the penalty area. Uruguay has a loose grip on Group A as they watch France and Mexico of the same group tomorrow.

P.S. Does this mean Spain is still cursed or jinxed or whatever?
