Plaxico Scores in his Return to Football

It has been over two years since Plaxico last played for the New York Giants and there was much speculation on to how he would do coming back to the football scene. Yesterday, he made his return to the sport, his New York Jets debut, and his debut in the New Meadowlands Stadium. A lot of firsts for Plaxico. Anyway, he did well, I guess. A bit rusty with that first catch but the other two were pretty solid, especially that TD catch delivered by Mark Sanchez. Nice throw, Mark. All in all, Plaxico had 3 receptions on the day for 66 yards and a TD catch for the highlight reel. Looks like the Jets filled Braylon Edwards' vacancy pretty well. If things continue like this, Plaxico will be a big contributor for the Jets.
