Rangers Have 2-0 Lead while Cards and Brewers are Deadlocked

The Championship Series round has begun and the 1st two games of each series has gone by. In Texas, the Tigers and the Rangers played 2 games with each one going the Rangers' way. First game was a close one that got interrupted by rain a couple of rain delays but the Rangers persevered to win, 3-2. The second one would go into extras until Nelson Cruz unloaded the bases with a walk off Grand Slam in the 11th. Rangers won that, 7-3. Rangers now have a 2-0 lead over the Tigers as the series shifts to Detroit.

As for the NLCS, the Cardinals and Brewers played two games in Miller Park. First one had the Brewers coming back and winning, 9-6, thanks to a big 5th inning. The second game had Albert Pujols written all over it. Pujols was 4 for 5, hit 3 doubles, a home run, and had 5 RBI's in the game. Some one's playing for a big contract. Cardinals cause the Brewers to lose their first game at home this postseason, 12-3. This series is tied at 1-1 heading to St. Louis.

One series is even while the other looks like the beginnings of a sweep. Cheer up, Detroit. At least the Lions beat the Bears, 24-13, and are still undefeated.
