Been a bit behind in my World Series coverage so let's try to catch up.
Games 1 and 2 in St. Louis were close between the Cardinals and the Rangers with one run being the difference in the final score. The Cards took game 1 at 3-2 and the Rangers took game 2, 2-1. The controversy going into Texas was Albert Pujols not talking to the media after making a costly error in the 9th inning of game 2. His silence was broken in game 3 with his bat as he went 5/6 with 3 HRs and 6 RBIs in the game as the Cards won, 16-7. Some of that offense might've been needed for the next game, however, as the Rangers took game 4, 4-0, thanks to a great pitching performance by Derek Holland and a 3 run Home Run by Mike Napoli to create some distance in the 6th.
So far the series is tied at 2-2. The crucial game 5 is tomorrow with Chris Carpenter and CJ Wilson taking the mound for their respective teams. One thing is for sure and that's the series will go back to St. Louis. Better win, Texas.
