TCU Saves the Big 12?

The Big 12 has had a lot of bad news in the past couple of months with Texas A&M leaving for the SEC, rumors of the conference folding and teams going to the Pac 12, and rumors that Missouri would leave the conference. Looks like there is some good news for them, however. TCU has decided not to join the Big East, as planned, but will join the Big 12 starting next school year. This bodes well for the Big 12 considering the geographic location of TCU and the fact that a team is replacing Texas A&M.

But does this move save the conference or just delay time of death? If Missouri does leave for the SEC like it hopes to then they're right back where they started. Also, what of the Big East, they lost three schools last month and have now said they want to add 6 more football programs to get to 12 in the conference. Is that a realistic goal for them? A lot of realignment is going on college football and it's too much count.
