A Game Linning Three Pointer

How's that for bad puns.

Over this past week or so, Jeremy Lin has the been main topic of discussion across the NBA for what he has done over a 5 game stretch. Now we are talking about what has happened over a 6 game stretch. Today, Lin took his talents to Canada as the Knicks played the Toronto Raptors. The Knicks fell behind in this game and it didn't seem like Lin was helping that much as he had 8 turnovers on the night. But in the 4th quarter, the Knicks were able to mount a comeback with some assistance from Lin. It was tied at 87 when the clock winding down to its final seconds. Lin had the ball and shot from beyond the arc and made the game winning 3 pointer with a half second remaining. The Knicks win, 90-87.

Somehow Jeremy Lin makes Linsanity even greater than it already was. Incredible. Lin now leads his team to their 6th win... sorry, 6th Lin in a row. I must say I think I know partly why this guy is such a phenom to so many people: LeBron James. It seems weird but hear me out. Ever since "The Decision," NBA Fans in general have been looking for someone else to embrace and to follow. What better guy to follow than a star that seems to have come out of no where? Also, he plays for the NEW YORK Knicks. Everyone seems to eat up stars that play in New York City or at least New Jersey (ELI).

In the end, a good game for Lin. Despite the turnovers, he still had 27 points, 11 assists, and the game winning three. Can this guy get anymore popular?

P.S. I know it's too late but I'm sure NBA officials are wondering if there was a way to get this guy on the NBA All Star Roster. I don't care how many rules you're breaking, make it happen. Fans want to see this guy play more than anyone else.
