"Linsanity" Takes Down the Lakers

Being already a sub .500 team, the Knicks had just lost there two biggest stars as Melo was out with an injury and Amare Stoudemire left to deal with the passing of his brother. It looked like another stretch of bad luck for the Knicks. However, it was not so. One of their PG's, Jeremy Lin, started to step up. He was scoring well and the Knicks won three games in a row. Now the Lakers come to town and it just seems like they will put Jeremy Lin and the Knicks in their place what with Kobe Bryant dissing on Lin. Instead, Lin is the one that disses on the Lakers. Lin scores 38 points and gets 7 assists as the Knicks won the game, 92-85.

Where has this guy been? Very exciting to see unexpected talent like this reach the NBA level and start to turn some heads. Lin is making a difference for the this team. He is stepping up when they need it the most and they have won 4 in a row with him as their best performer. Makes you wonder what the team will do when Melo and Amare come back. I hope they will get better instead of focusing on their big guys. Hard to imagine that they won't start using Lin as one of their big scorers from now on. Good luck to the Knicks and keep it up, Jeremy Lin.
