Moss is Pulling a Favre

After a disappointing 2010 season of being traded from team to team to team, Randy Moss retired from the NFL and a lot of people speculated, including myself to a degree, that Moss would come back sometime this last season to play for someone anyway. That did not happen. No one seem to call on him and he stayed retired. Now Randy Moss wants to comeback. Yesterday on his birthday, Moss announced that he would like to return to the NFL. He said on ustream "I wanna play football" adding "Your boy is going to come back here and play some football, so I'm really excited. I had some things I had to adjust in my life."

Moss is now coming back after just turning 35 years old. Still fair age for a WR but not prime age. So will anyone want Randy Moss? Guessing no. No one seemed to pick up T.O. when he was trying to get signed but then again he is a few years older. I will guess that some teams will take a look but I don't think he will get signed by anyone. The NFL doesn't seem to be interested in aged WR's like they used to be in the past. It hasn't worked out for Rodney Harrison or T.O. and Chad Ochocinco wasn't really used at all when he was on the Pats this last season. Then again that last one may have had to do more with chemistry than ability.

Moss also has chemistry working against him. I think teams would rather take T.O. over Moss just because they know T.O. will always give it 110% on the field. Moss has an attitude problem that many teams would just like to pass over. That will always work against Moss more than any other receiver.

I hope Moss does manage to comeback this year to add a little more excitement but I it doesn't really look good for him. I am also interested to see whether or not Hines Ward manages to find a place to play. He will turn 36 next month. Good luck to both of them.

P.S. Be sure to tune into the Dan and Van Show every Thursday night at 8 PM on KSUNradio.com... Pretty Good.

P.P.S. The Sports Khan Radio Show has been put on hiatus. Sorry, don't have the time right now for another show. Plus, having a lot of fun with Van.
