Spurs Keep Winning and Take Game 1 vs. Thunder

Sunday was a nice day for some basketball. It was game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and it was one that went back and forth... until the 4th quarter. The Thunder and the Spurs had a pretty good bought between themselves. It seemed throughout the body of the game that the Thunder were in control while the old folks couldn't keep up. However, the Spurs turned it on in the 4th quarter and outscored the Thunder, 39-27. By the end, the Thunder were down by too much to mount a last minute comeback. Spurs win, 101-98.

A great game 1 between these two sides. Just when you thought that the Spurs were going to lose, they managed to play a fantastic 4th quarter and win their 19th game in a row dating back to the regular season. The Thunder are going to have to try some new things if they are going to beat this experienced team. The Spurs are in too much of a rhythm right now. I bet the Thunder can't wait to get back to OKC to see if things will turn out differently. They will have to play a game 2 first.
