Agent Zero Gets a Burn Notice, Holliday Re-Signs with Cardinals, and the Baseball Hall of Fame '10

The NBA has finally done something regarding Gilbert Arenas. The Commissioner of the NBA, David Stern, has suspended Arenas indefinitely without pay because Arenas brought guns into a NBA lockeroom and pulled them to play some sort of joke that I still don't get. The guns were not loaded at the time of the incident but it is still a very serious matter. I actually support David Stern in this decision. This is different from the Plaxico Burress case as this actually involves the NBA (locker room). This is legitimately a Legal and NBA affair. I hope that Arenas is suspended for a whole season's worth of games.

In the baseball world, the ST. Louis Cardinals re-signed Matt Holliday to a 7 year, 120 million dollar deal. This is a great deal for Holliday in that he gets this kind of long term deal and the big bucks. The Cardinals, though, might be hurt in the long run as they might lack to funds to do certain things in the future like re-sign Albert Pujols. The Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2010 was announced with only one player getting the necessary amount of votes. That player is Andre Dawson and he is a class of one. Bert Blyleven and Roberto Alomar fell a few votes short this year as Blyleven was just 5 votes short and Alomar was just 8 votes short. Dawson has a career total of 438 homers and over 1500 RBI's. He spent most of his career with the Montreal Expos and then a notable tenure with the Cubs. Andre Dawson will be inducted in July of this year.

P.S. How can Arenas actually strike a pose pointing his fingers out like a pair of guns? Someone needs to tell him he is not at the chuckle hut, please.
