Goodbye USC, Hello Seattle

Pete Carrol's tenure at USC is officially over as he resigned as the Trojans head coach to become the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Pete Carroll ends a great tenure at USC that has included 7 Pac Ten Titles in a row, Two National Titles, and nearly a hundred wins in his USC career. Carroll was without a doubt a great coach at the college level and maybe the best of the last decade. USC now needs to find a new head coach to lead this football program.

Carroll now takes his experience into the pros as he will try to make this trip to the NFL better than his previous ones. They weren't bad but they weren't great either. He will be taking a team that has hit a rough patch the last two seasons with at least 10 losses in each one. The challenge for Carroll is to make this team a playoff contender in a few years. The team still has Hasselbeck but he will be pushing retirement age pretty soon. Carroll will have to make a push in the next couple of years.

P.S. Bad News for the Niners as they now have to fear a improved team in the NFC West.
