No Rust for the Saints and the Colts

Many analysts recently questioned whether a team can pick up the pace after a bye week in the playoffs. The Colts and the Saints didn't get the message. The first game had the Saints pick apart the Cardinals 45-14. Drew Brees was in top form as he threw 247 yards and 3 TDs in the win. The Saints go marching on to the NFC Title Game which will be at the Superdome.

The Colts were under more scrutiny as they just gave away the last two games of the year and many thought it was a bad move (including myself) as it would make them lose an edge and they also gave up a chance at history. The Colts needed a win and they got one beating the Ravens at Indianapolis 20-3. The Ravens allowed 4 turnovers which gave the Colts fuel for the win along with Manning's 246 Passing Yards, 2 TD passes and one INT. The Colts will host the AFC Title Game next week.

The number one teams in both conferences break a trend of previous top teams. They proved they belong there and they both have one more step until the Superbowl.

P.S. DAMN IT RAVENS!!! If you're going to beat the Pats, YOU BETTER BEAT THE COLTS!!!
