Broncos Hire the Fox

John Fox was recently known as the head coach of the Panthers from 2002 to 2010. Not many people remember that he actually led the team to a Super Bowl in just his second season as a head coach. Unfortunately for him, he faced the Pats and lost by 3. Fox has tried to get back since then but hasn't been able to. The Panthers just let him go after his contract expired with the franchise especially after just getting 2 wins this season. John Fox did not stay unemployed for long, however. The Broncos have hired him as their new head coach. He will now try and rebuild the Broncos instead of the Panthers.

A very interesting situation for him in Denver. He has 3 different QB's to chose from: Kyle Orton, Tim Tebow, and Brady Quinn. The starter will likely be either Orton or Tebow depending on who impresses Fox more. There is a lot more to look at, though, than just QB. The team was 26th in rushing this season and were last in defense. Fox will probably look at defensive players for his #2 pick in the draft rather than improve the offense.

Good luck to John Fox and the Broncos this off season. They need a major overhaul.

P.S. Here's a good question: Who will get back to the playoffs first, Carolina or Denver?
