Titans to Part Ways with Vince Young

This season has been a disappointment for the Titans since starting the year at 5-2. The team would go on to win only one more game the rest of the year. But there are greater issues for the team this off season as they try to rebuild. One such issue was who to keep; Vince Young or Jeff Fisher. The two had an altercation in the locker room after the loss to the Redskins in week 11. It was possibly spurned because Young had to leave with an injury and would toss his pads into the crowd as he left. From that point on, it didn't seem that the two would be able to work together again.

The recent news is that the Titans seemed to have decided who they're getting rid of: Vince Young. Apparently they will say goodbye to Young before the start of the next season. He will be probably be traded away but what about Jeff Fisher? He seems to be safe but Bud Adams, the Titan owner, says he will also evaluate the coaching staff like he did with the QB position. That seems like a vague answer and will at least entail changing the lesser coaches but I doubt they're going to get rid of Jeff Fisher. Though if they were, this would be the time to do it. The Titans currently have the 8th pick in the draft and have a good spot for picking a talented QB. Perhaps if Adams thinks Fisher's tenure in Tennessee might be over soon, he might change head coaches now so that the new coach will have a QB he chose, not one Jeff Fisher chose.

Lot to think about for the Titans. Once they decide what to do the head coaching spot, they will need to pick a QB. Lot of scouting to do for them.
