New #1 Already Beaten?

Ohio State fell to Wisconsin this last weekend and gave up their spot as #1 to Kansas. The Jayhawks, though, look like they will hand down the #1 spot to someone else just as soon as they got it. K-State, who has had a less than spectacular year, played a great game at home beating the Jayhawks, 84-68. Jacob Pullen of K-State was the main factor scoring 38 points against their instate rivals. Just like the Ohio State loss, fans of the underdogs swept the court and mobbed the players in joy. While this won't affect Kansas in the long run, it may be the morale boost that K-State needs to get back in the hunt for March Madness. Good luck to those Wildcats in turning the tables.

P.S. Remember, the Sports Khan is getting a weekly Internet radio show on KSUN Radio... Pretty Good. I will go over the top stories of the week and even take some calls at 707 664 2623. The Sports Khan goes live on KSUNradio.com starting at 2 PM this Thursday.
