To Sue or Not to Sue?

The Super Bowl this last Sunday was an amazing game to watch filled with great passes, amazing catches, and an overrated singer named Chritina Aguilera. Most of America knew that too as it set a TV rating record with 111 million people watching. However, all is not well as about 1250 fans were displaced as some of the temporary seating sections were not completed. About 800 were given other seats while 450 were left to watch the game on either monitors or use a standing room only platforms.

As expected, many of the fans were upset with the relocating and the NFL has heard their cries. The NFL has offered $2400 and tickets to next year's Super Bowl or Tickets to any future Super Bowl with round trip airfare and hotel accommodations. This is still not satisfactory to those fans who wanted to see this particular Super Bowl so over 1000 fans has brought a class action lawsuit against the NFL, the Cowboys, and Jerry Jones himself. They are saying that receiving no seats or bad seats is a breach of contract, fraud, and deceptive sales practices.

Okay, to be clear the fans do have a case. They had tickets to seats that they didn't get. I'm not a lawyer and I don't know what these fans are entitled to if they do win this case but they would probably at least something to the equivalent of those separate offers by the NFL. Now should they sue? YES!!! Imagine a huge fan of either the Packers or the Steelers wanting to see their team compete in the biggest game in the world and then not being able to go in because their seats weren't finished. Also imagine that person saving money his whole life and waiting for a chance to go and see his team play in the Super Bowl. Damn, I can so be a lawyer!!!

P.S. True, it's not a horrible thing that caused anyone harm but the NFL should pay out.
