Brady Lead Pats to Victory in Miami and Raiders Run Out Broncos

The first Monday Night for Football always has a double header attached to it. The first game featured was the Patriots going to Miami to face the Dolphins. As usual, the story for both teams were the QB's. Chad Henne has been shaky to say the least so far in the NFL but today he seemed alright. He was 30/49 and threw for 416 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. Nice numbers if he wasn't going against Tom Brady. Brady scorched the field going 32/48, throwing for 517 yards (team record), 4 TDs, and 1 INT. Brady ruled the day pulling the Patriots along to a win, 38-24.

The 2nd game featured was a showdown at Mile High Stadium in Denver between the Raiders and the Broncos. Seemed to be a back and forth thing between these teams was the penalties, 25 combined penalties. Where's the discipline? The star of the game seemed to be Darren McFadden who rushed for 150 yards on 22 carries. Nice effort. As for the QB's, not MVP impressive for either one. Kyle Orton was undoubtedly under the most pressure to succeed. It seemed whenever something bad happened, the crowd screamed for Tebow. Orton was 24/46 throwing for 304 yards, 1 TD, and 1 INT. He managed to get within 3 throwing a TD Pass to Lance Ball with 3:43 to go but the Raiders just ran the clock down and sealed the win, 23-20.

An okay pair of games to start off Monday Night Football. That seals week 1 of Football around the NFL. What does week 2 have in store?

P.S. Also, the Broncos are throwing the ball too much. 46 attempts by Orton and only 13 total rushes by the team. Where is the running game?
