You BETTER of Won

Like last week, I didn't get much of a chance to watch the 49ers game. They went to Cincinnati to play the Bengals. It seemed to be a rather defensive game considering the final score and the fact it was 3 all entering the fourth quarter. I thought the niners were going to screw this one up as well but they did get it right. Credit Alex Smith for leading the team downfield for a go ahead TD scored by Kendall Hunter on the ground. Made some nice throws and Vernon Davis made some nice plays. We managed to hold them off near the end and thank goodness. 49ers win, 13-8 (Andy Lee ran it out of the endzone for a safety to run down the clock further) and are 2-1 on the season.

Feel a bit bad for the rookie QB Andy Dalton throwing two INTs near the end to shoot his own team in the foot. He's still learning. As for the niners, they should've done better. A win's a win but this one should've been bigger going against a rookie QB like Dalton. Seeing how the team has played, the next few games can be winnable for the team. If Vick doesn't play next week for the Eagles, the 49ers will have a decent chance. Good shot also against the Bucs the following week seeing as to how they are playing (though they did beat the Falcons). The Lions are a likely loss but the Browns game following is winnable. Get a couple wins over the next five weeks (bye week between the Lions and the Browns) and the 49ers will be in good shape.
