Pac-12 Not Expanding

More potential Conference shifts were the subject of yesterday or should I say a lack of Conference shifts. It was assumed by many (at least by me) that the Pac-12 would expand to 16 with 4 Big 12 teams wanting to abandon ship after Texas A&M had done so. However, this process of expansion has halted and maybe for good. The Pac-12 has said it won't expand further because of a lack of assurances from Texas that they would back equal revenue sharing. The deal would've added Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas Tech.

Okay, so the deal didn't get done. It was still all about the money. Just about sharing it and how Texas doesn't want to share with new friends letting him play ball with them. A bit too toddlery there but I believe I made my point. Looks like the Big 12 will survive after all... for now. I wonder if they will be able to get a 10th team to join their conference or will they just settle with 9 for now.

I guess the super conference of the west coast will not happen. As for the East, that seems well underway in the ACC.
