Cable not Charged, Zorn to Stay, and ALCS Goes Back to the Bronx

The NFL had a couple of interesting stories in the past couple of days. First was the Napa DA will not seek charges against Tom Cable for allegedly hitting one of his assistant head coaches. I don't know the specifics of the incident but this is a event that needs to be put to rest soon. Considering this is a incident that has to do with an NFL organization, the NFL itself has the right to investigate if it sees fit. I doubt, however, that they will find further fault than the Napa DA. Second NFL story is the the VP of the Redskins stating that they will stick with Zorn for the rest of the Year. I think that the situation in Washington is laughable considering that they took play calling duties away from Zorn for the Offense. I admire them for sticking with Zorn but I'm receiving mixed messages from this franchise.

Now for the ALCS in baseball. The Angels won a couple days ago 7-6 to force a game 6 in New York City. I'm happy to see the series continue but I think it will end today with a Yankees win. There is no way that the Angels are winning three straight games against the Yankees as they almost screwed up the win the other night. There is no way the Angels will stay lucky for two more games. Meanwhile, the Phillies wait for the winner to face them in World Series. I hope they get the rest they need in order to play what looks like the Yankees.
