Heat Overmatch Celtics, 93-79

Last night was game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals featuring Old Folks vs. the Miami Heat. The Celtics had a tall order of trying to beat the Heat and try to take command of the series. They didn't get anywhere close to doing that. Save for the 2nd quarter, the Heat dominated this game, specifically LeBron James. 32 points, 13 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 assists for James as he continues to shine for another playoff game. They were fluid in the ball moving and destroyed the Celtics, 93-79.

This wasn't just all about LeBron, this was a team effort in where the Miami Heat were just clicking. The Celtics just couldn't keep up with this level of play from the Heat. I wonder if they will be able to keep this kind of thing up when Chris Bosh returns. The Celtics need to somehow find a way to adjust to this new kind of play from the Heat or just hope that the rhythm there dies off. With this kind of performance, I'm not sure whether or not the Celtics can even win a game in this series.

First game of the series and it already seems over. Someone get the Celtics some some oxygen by the case load.
