2012 NBA Draft: Top 2 From UK

The NBA Draft was last night and beyond the obvious things like Anthony Davis getting drafted number 1 and Commissioner Stern getting booed, it was a nice evening. Anthony Davis does go number 1 to the New Orleans Hornets while his teammate from Kentucky, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, goes number 2 overall to the Bobcats. The following 3 are Bradley Beal to the Wizards, Dion Waiters to the Cavs, and Thomas Robinson to the Kings. A nice moment of the night was Doc Rivers seeing his son, Austin Rivers, getting drafted number 10 overall and going to the Hornets. UNC and UK sees 4 outgoing players each go in the first round.

A interesting night to say the least. Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers are the same team entering in the NBA. Along with Eric Gordon who they want to come back will make the Hornets a possible playoff team in the coming years. The Celtics also made a couple of interesting back-to-back selections at 21 and 22 overall. They pick Jared Sullinger and Fab Melo. A couple of big guys to possibly reload for another playoff run. Better hope that the KG and Ray Allen are coming next season. As for you Warrior fans...

Anyway the draft is over with free agency and the Olympics around the corner for the NBA. As for the amount of Olympic Basketball games I will be watching? Zero. Rather watch other sports that don't get any attention outside the Olympics.

P.S. Sort of hate Anthony Davis right now. You don't own the Unibrow you jerk. I got a guy name Bert on Sesame Street that will kick your a** for that.
