The 2nd LT to Retire

Another great running back is gone from the sport.

LaDanian Tomlinson hasn't been the same since he left the Chargers. Heck, even a bit before he left the Chargers. It looks like he will rejoin the Chargers... briefly. LT will re-sign with the Chargers for a day so he can retire with the team. LaDanian Tomlinson spent 11 seasons in the NFL, 9 with the Chargers and the last two with the Jets. He finishes his career with 13,684 rushing yards (5th all time), 145 rushing TDs (2nd all time), and 162 total TDs (3rd all time). He holds the single season TD record with 31 TDs in 2006 where he was also MVP.

A fine career LT has had. Only thing missing is a ring. Pity he missed out on that. He is certainly a Hall of Famer but that is something a lot of greats regret. Still, he should be proud of his career and I'm sure that he is. He'll still be known as one of the great rushers ever and greatest scorers.
