Thunder Ends the Spurs' Winning Streak

A crucial game 3 was last night in the NBA between the Spurs and the Thunder. It was essential that the Thunder win this game in order for them to basically stay alive in this series. The Thunder must have had a defibrillator from nature itself as they came alive in this game. More specifically, Serge Ibaka and Thabo Sefolosha became relevant scoring a combined 33 points in this one. Kevin Durant had 22, Russell Westbrook only had 10, and James Harden had 15. The Thunder win, 102-82, and now are down 2-1 in the series.

On the last day in May, the Spurs finally lose a game. It was there first loss since April 11 which was still in the regular season. A big step for the Thunder. Sure, they still have a huge mountain ahead of them as they now have to win 3 more games out of four but this kind of improvement at home shows that they stand a chance. I'm still expecting the Spurs to win this series but possibly in 6 or 7 games rather than 4 or 5.
