Albert Pujols Hits 400th
Washington DC had something else to watch besides Stephen Strasburg. Albert Pujols and the Cardinals played the Nationals in what would be a semi historic event. In the 4th inning, Albert Pujols hit his 400th Career Home Run. A nice swing hitting the ball into the Right Field seats. This makes Pujols the 3rd youngest ever to 400 home runs behind only A-Rod and Ken Griffey Jr. The Cardinals would lose this one, however, 11-10 in the 13th inning. In their close race for a playoff spot, Pujols might have wanted the win more. Anyway, congrats to Pujols for passing another checkpoint toward a hall of fame career.
