J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS... OF WINNIPEG!!!

With the hockey season over, let the off season begin with literally the biggest off season move with the Atlanta Thrashers moving to Winnipeg. The deal become official this last week and just yesterday at the NHL Draft the team announced their new name just before their first pick. Okay, it's an old name. The Winnipeg Jets. Everyone had a feeling the old team name would be chosen and it was. The old Jets used to be in Winnipeg from 1972-1996 until the team moved to Phoenix and became the Coyotes. Anyway, good for the city to have their old team back. I'm sure the team will still struggle a bit as they try to find their way to the playoffs. As the Thrashers, they haven't gotten there for the last 4 seasons. Good Luck.
