Jim Caldwell Fired From Colts

Jim Caldwell's first season as the Colts head coach the team went 14-2 and went to the Super Bowl where they lost to the Saints. His last season the team went 2-14 and managed to grab the #1 overall pick in the Draft. I say his "last season" because the Colts have fired Jim Caldwell from the team after an abysmal season with no Peyton Manning. They have fired Bill Polian and now Jim Caldwell. Caldwell was 26-22 overall as the team's head coach. Speculation now begins as to who team owner, Jim Irsay and the new GM will hire to take over this team at a crossroads.

What a crossroads too. Not only will the head coach be expected to lead the team back to former glory with Peyton Manning but he will also have to develop Andrew Luck on the back end. Or will the team trade Manning? It's not quite sure what the team will do at this point but if they keep both Manning and Luck, that head coach will have his hands full. I wonder if this unique opportunity will attract certain head coaches from the press box. While this is an intriguing offer for most, I doubt "certain coaches" will leave the press box for it.

Whoever does take over for the Colts, good "Luck" to them.
