As I have said many times, the Lakers are going to win the NBA ti... why is Kobe limping? HOLY CRAP!!! Don't worry folks, he seems all right.
This was the line of events for the Lakers when they faced the Mavericks on Saturday. During the 3rd quarter, Kobe Bryant seemed to have injured his ankle when he rolled on it after the ball was slapped away from him by Shawn Marion. Kobe went to the lockerroom but didn't stay there for long. He would come back out and finish the game helping the Lakers beat the Mavericks, 96-91. It turns out Kobe just reaggravated a ankle sprain he had received against the Hawks earlier in the week. For a second, the Lakers thought their year was done.
Sure this isn't really news but it does speak a bit to the age of Kobe Bryant. How many times can he really land awkwardly and not have it be something serious? Also, his numbers last night weren't really that good. 6-20 and 16 points? That's not impressive. True, he is still getting 25 points a game on average and the Lakers are still the team to beat but that can't last forever. One of these years I'm not going to pick the Lakers to win it all.
P.S. Remember to listen to the Sports Khan Radio Show every Thursday at 2 PM on KSUNradio.com... Pretty Good.
