The Charlotte Bobcats have now become officially relevant by clinching a playoff spot for the first time ever in their franchise's history. I find it ironic that they clinch the spot with a win over the New Orleans Hornets (104-103) who used to play in Charlotte until 2002. It is definitely a call for celebration. Right now the Bobcats are at the 7th spot in the playoff picture but could pass Milwaukee and Miami if things go right. Also it is not likely that they will drop a spot considering that they are a game away from making sure that doesn't happen.
P.S. That last sentence is only determined by season records and nothing else. In other words, I could be wrong. Also, catch up Bulls.
