The Rockies played the Atlanta Braves earlier today and would win the game 4-0. This game, though, will be remembered forever in Rockies history as Ubaldo Jimenez threw the first No Hitter ever for that Franchise. It is every pitcher's dream to pitch a no hitter or even a perfect game. Jimenez though was very lucky to achieve this for two reasons: One is that he threw 128 pitches and walked 6 people. Too many for both categories. And the second is that he didn't have Joe Giradi as a manager. Anyway, congrats to Jimenez for the no-no and getting his third win of the season.
P.S. Notice that the first no hitter for the Rockies was in Atlanta and not Denver. That is the third reason.
