Thierry Henry Comes to the NY Red Bulls

MLS is about to get another hand me down from Europe. Thierry Henry, who most previously played for FC Barcelona, has signed a multi year deal with the New York Red Bulls. Thierry Henry, of course, is past his prime as he hasn't scored over 20 goals in a season for a long while. Henry has come here as another attraction for MLS to show. He and Beckham now showcase European talents on both coasts. Now Henry is a improvement for the Red Bulls and will turn some heads to MLS but he far from the actual solution. The US still needs to form their own stars that can compete with the likes of Henry and Beckham in their prime. This starts with better youth soccer programs. Of course these soccer programs will have more kids joining if they see a premier players like Thierry Henry. So for that, I thank you, Henry.

P.S. Still not enough but thank you.
