A fight involving Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been hyped since late 2009. However, neither side has been able to come to an agreement for the fight. A fight of this magnitude will no doubt involve tens of millions of dollars yet there is no fight. Both camps seemed to have agreed to terms, even the drug tests that Mayweather's side wanted for Pacquiao. However, the deadline set by Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, has passed without any word from the Mayweather camp. Pacquiao will still fight someone in November but it won't Mayweather.
Why does this fight keep stalling? Will it ever happen? Why is Mayweather being a chicken all of a sudden? He's worse than those pitchers that intentionally walk a slugger like Barry Bonds. But like the pitchers, Manny does think his opponent has been juicing. In the end, he comes out looking like a coward until he agrees to the fight. Even if he wants to preserve that unbeaten record, it means nothing if he is not willing to take on the biggest competition out there.
P.S. Okay, technically he has already taken out the "biggest" competition. He beat the Big Show at Wrestlemania XXIV. HA HA HA!!!
