Auburn and Oregon to Play for the National Title

Well the stage is set for the BCS National Title Game in Glendale, Arizona. Auburn and Oregon came into the week basically fighting to hold off upsets. Both would succeed in their task. Oregon had a Civil War on their hands with Oregon State. LaMichael James ran for 134 Yards and 2 TDs and Darron Thomas threw for 145 Yards and 2 TDs. The Ducks would win this one comfortably, 37-20. Meanwhile, Auburn faced South Carolina in the SEC Title game. You can't really call this a game, however, as the Tigers destroyed the Gamecocks, 56-17. Cam Newton Threw for 335 Yards and 4 TDs and ran for 73 Yards and 2 TDs. Cam was practically celebrating the victory near the end of the 3rd quarter.

The National Championship Game will be between Auburn and Oregon. A great match up of East vs. West, Tigers vs. Ducks, PAC-10 vs. the SEC. It's still a pity that a non BCS team didn't get in. TCU was close the whole way through but still wasn't considered good enough. As to who will win the National Title, my money is on Auburn. Cam Newton is too versatile to ignore and Oregon's offense is great but can be stopped as shown in their game against Cal. Auburn will likely be too much for them. This aims to be exciting game, either way, considering it will feature two high powered offenses and likely a Heisman Winner.

P.S. WE WANT A PLAYOFF!!! WE WANT A PLAYOFF!!!
