It just got worse for the Minnesota Vikings and they are already out of contention. Sunday's game between the Giants and the Vikings in the Metrodome was already pushed back because the Giants flight was diverted to Kansas City due to a snowstorm in Minnesota. Well they're not going to Minnesota, anyway, as the dome part of the Metrodome collapsed because of the snowstorm. Snow broke the roof and poor into the Metrodome making it unusable. The game is now on Monday Night at Ford Field in Detroit.
THIS IS HILARIOUS!!! The roof actually collapsed just like the Vikings. BURN!!! Looks like Zygi Wilf really needs a new stadium now. This is actually not the first time the roof of the Metrodome has collapsed as there have been a few incidents back in the 1980's. The real kicker here is that the Vikings now have to go play a home game in a divisional opponents stadium. After this game with the Giants, the Vikings only have one more home game against the Bears on December 20th. That game doesn't have a planned site yet. I hear Soldier Field is available. HAHAHA!!!
