2010 AFC North Preview: The Three Way Race

This division may be the most chaotic. There are 3 teams that could win the AFC North title... and the Browns. The Cincinnati Bengals seem as Strong as ever and maybe better with T.O. now teaming up with Ochocinco. It seems especially well for Carson Palmer. Don't forget Cedric Benson as the HB who had a comeback 2009 season. The Baltimore Ravens seem reloaded as well as Joe Flacco also got another receiver to throw to. Anquan Boldin will open up the pass attack for Flacco and the defense, while aging, is still good. As for the Steelers, sure they don't have Big Ben for the first 4 games but don't count them out. The Team is still strong around the QB and the defense is back to full form with Troy Polamalu returning as the Strong Safety. The Browns are the only team that doesn't have a shot at a playoff birth. It will likely lead to another developmental year. Maybe Colt McCoy will start.

So who will win the 3 way race? After a complex game of eeny meeny miny moe, I'm going to say the Ravens. While the Steelers or Bengals might overcome this prediction, my gut feeling says that Baltimore will be the winners. However, there is no doubt in my mind that a Wild Card team will come from this division and I would have to chose the Bengals over the Steelers. It's hard to say the Steelers considering they don't have Big Ben for 4 games so the Bengals seem like a safer bet. One thing is for certain, it will be a very fun division to follow.

P.S. A Special Prediction: Colt McCoy will start playing around Week 6. Jake Delhomme won't waste any time in losing the starting job.
