Jimmy Clausen to Start Sunday
When the Panthers drafted Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft, they were basically telling Matt Moore that he had a short lease to roam with. Though Moore had a good performance at the end of last season, it was not enough for Carolina to hang all their hopes on. That might have been a good pick as Moore had thrown 4 INTs, 2 TDs, had a completion percentage of 40.8 and a QB rating of 41.8. That short lease is gone and has been replace with a cage (this analogy is really falling apart). Now the lease is on Jimmy Clausen as he has been named the Starter for Sunday's game against Cincinnati. Though Jimmy didn't do any better than Moore when he went in against the Buccaneers, Jimmy will have a full week to prepare for this start and hopefully perform good enough to make this a permanent change.
