Matt Leinart Cut by the Cardinals
Ken Whisenhunt and the Arizona Cardinals are done with Matt Leinart. The Former Heisman winner has been released from the Cardinals after 4 seasons with the team. Leinart was the 10th overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft but never lived up to expectations while at Arizona. This move seems to indicate that Derek Anderson will be the starting QB for the Cardinals. As for Matt Leinart, he might get an QB opportunity with someone else in the years to come but will likely be only offered back up roles for now. Maybe the Bills would be interested as they seem the most shaky at the QB spot, but they already have 3 QB's. We'll have to wait and see if any team takes Matt Leinart this year.
